This popular pattern actually originated in Europe during the 1800s. But the trend to use this pattern in women’s clothing became popular in the 1920s. From then on we continue to see this on runways, catalogs and on celebrities. Fashion does not die. It finds its way back to any decade.
I recently purchased these polka dot pants from JCREW. This pattern is fun and young. We decided that we should go to a playground for this photo-shoot.
(Basic rule in fashion: Have one thing stand out. I wanted my “mustache flats” from Zara to be the center of attention.)
Accessories: Fuchsia flats by ZARA and Bag from FENDI.
Jewelry: Pearl with mix metals necklace by JCREW, earrings by Tiffany’s and Bangle/ring by DAVID YURMAN
Location: John Carroll Playground
