When do you get 67deg F here in Bmore in January??

Hardly ever! So we decided to walk around this lovely city on this lovely saturday.

Mt Vernon Place Historic District

A neighborhood north of downtown Baltimore Maryland. It is one of the oldest neighborhoods and was originally home to the city’s most wealthy and fashionable families. This used to be the home of George Washington. In the center of the neighborhood lies the Washington Monument. It is a massive pillar that was dedicated to the first president of the United States. This is where you will find the famous Peabody Conservatory, John Hopkins University, Walters Art Museum, Maryland Institute College of Art, Lyric Opera House, Enoch Pratt Library and The Baltimore Basilica.

So if you ever find your way in Baltimore make sure you come and check out this beautiful neighborhood.

Best thing about this city, you never know what kind of dog you will meet that day. I met this cute Bully and he even matched my skirt.

  1. Its more historic than scenic. the places I mentioned you have to go in and explore. Its just being in the neighborhood feels like you’re in a different era. the only prominent thing is the monument in the center and thats on my last picture i posted. you can see the top of the monument.
